Who We Are

Arts Enter Cape Charles is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1997 in Cape Charles, Virginia, on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

The organization is managed and directed entirely by volunteers and governed by a 12-member Board of Directors.

 

Our Mission Our mission is to encourage and promote education, interest, and appreciation for the Fine and Performing Arts through quality instruction and training and to create positive artistic experiences by providing a safe and professional environment for an under-served and geographically isolated community.

 

What We Offer

The Historic Palace Theatre is alive with activities, classes and productions year-round. Our listing of the season is posted on our website, sent out by newsletter and publicized weekly in The Eastern Shore News and on the local radio stations. Our endeavors include dance, drama, music, and the visual arts.

Arts Enter also operates the Stage Door Gallery, adjacent to the Historic Palace Theatre, offering fine art and gifts throughout the year.

 

Our Future

Arts Enter has completed a number of restoration projects at the Art Deco theatre since 1998.
