Dance

Creative movement, ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, ballroom with Amy Watkins, Lisa Brash, Mara Ifju, Ashley Antunes, Chloe Harper, Donna & Geoff Sloan, and Holiday McCormack.

Community Choir

Adults are invited to join The Shore Singers, a community choir directed by Megan Cartwright. Thursday evening reherasals. Two performances per year. There is no fee.

Theatre Club

A free monthly theatre club on Friday afternoons teaches students how to be on stage. Led by director Clelia Cardano Sheppard. A fun way to explore and learn.

Theatre CAMP

Stars on Stage Musical Theatre Summer Camps camps provide a fun, immersive experience. Students learn and present a production in two weeks. Scholarships are available.

Plein Air Club

An informal plein air club meets on occasion to support one another as plein air artists. No instruction or supplies are provided. Once you sign up, you will be notified of paint outs. 

Fall Dance Schedule

Student classes are held from September 14–December 5  (11 weeks). Adult classes are ongoing.

 

No classes week of November 23, 2026

If class is cancelled, make-up classes will be added.

 

Additional rehearsals will be added the week prior to the Dance Showcase on December 5.

MONDAY

Creative Movement with Holiday McCormack and Parker Travis Upstairs Studio

Monday, 4:45–5:30 pm ($175)

To foster the love of dance in fresh learners. Class develops coordination and self-expression through simple dance movement and music. Students experience spatial awareness both individually and in a group. 

Dance FUNdamentals with Amy Watkins — Backstage Studio

Monday, 4:45–5:30 pm ($175) 

Dance foundational techniques of Ballet and Jazz with  improvisation  interspersed.  Includes introduction to musical theatre dance technique.

Core Crew: Modern/ Musical Theatre with Amy Watkins and Ballet / Jazz with Ashley Antunes — Upstairs Studio

Monday, 5:45–7:45 pm  ($300) 
 

Modern/ Musical Theatre with Amy Watkins for Core Crew — Explore movement and shapes, energy and expression with a mix of combinations and improvisation based on foundations of modern dance techniques.  Students gain confidence on the stage with an increased understanding of dance and theatrical movements.
 

Ballet/Jazz with Ashley Antunes for Core Crew  — Build a strong technical foundation and express yourself through movement in this dynamic, dual-discipline dance class. Students will alternate weekly between the structured precision of classical ballet—focusing on posture, barre work, and center practice—and musical theatre focused jazz, emphasizing isolation, turns, and performance quality.

 

TUESDAY
   

Adult Stretch with Mara Ifju — Upstairs Studio
​Tuesday, 9:00–10:00 am ($120 for 8 classes)


Movements are done sitting on chairs, and in standing and moving positions. These floor exercises are designed to improve breathing, to enhance circulation, increase joint mobility, flexibility, and muscular strength. 

 

Adult Tap with Lisa Brasch — Upstairs Studio

Tuesday, 10:15–11:15 am ($120 for 8 classes) 

Tap helps tone the body while enjoying music and movement while stimulating the mind with rhythmic sounds. Tapping improves physical function and well-being

Modern/Jazz with Mara Ifju — Upstairs Studio
Tuesday, 6:00–7:00 pm ($120 for 8 classes)
 

A mix of combinations and improvisation based on foundations of modern dance and jazz techniques for adults  

 

WEDNESDAY

Hip-Hop with Chloe Harper — Upstairs Studio

Wednesday (alternate weeks), 5:00–6:30 pm ($120 for 6 classes)
 

This high-energy class introduces dancers to a variety of hip-hop techniques while building rhythm, confidence, and personal style. Through diverse music and movement, students will also explore the history and culture that shape hip-hop.
 

Learn the Rumba: Ballroom with Donna and Geoff Sloan — Upstairs Studio
Wednesday, 7:00–8:00 pm (beginning October 9 for 6 sessions for $120

Enjoy the fun and grace of ballroom dancing with Donna and Geoff Sloan.


THURSDAY
