Since 1997, Arts Enter Cape Charles has brought the visual and performing arts to the lower Eastern Shore of Virginia.
Our vision is that every member of our community has access to the inspiration of the arts, whether as a performer, creator, or appreciator.

Live theatre, music, dance, visual art, and arts education come together through Arts Enter’s programs at two welcoming venues: the Historic Palace Theatre and Lemon Tree Gallery.
Historic Palace Theatre
A restored 1942 Art Deco theatre in the heart of Cape Charles, presenting live music, theatre, film, and community performances.
Lemon Tree Gallery
A gallery and creative space where art, music, and community meet. Discover works by artists and enjoy free live music almost every Friday.

The Dave Matthews Cover Band
DMTB celebrates the music of Dave Matthews with an energetic live concert experience inspired by the band’s iconic 1990s sound. Known for soaring violin, smooth sax, intricate guitar work, and explosive rhythms, the Buffalo-based tribute band has spent more than two decades recreating the spirit of a classic DMB show, with over 2,000 performances across the U.S. and beyond.

Musical Theatre Summer Camp:

Newsie's Jr. is a timeless story full of spirit and heart, inspired by the rousing true story of newsboys in turn-of-the-century New York City. Each summer, director Megan Cartwright leads young performers ages 8 and up in a fun and supportive musical theatre experience at the Historic Palace Theatre. Over two weeks, students rehearse, learn choreography, and work together to bring a full stage production to life.
