2026 Musical Theatre Camp: Disney's Newsies Jr.
Newsie's Jr. is a timeless story full of spirit and heart. It is inspired by the rousing true story of newsboys in turn-of-the-century New York City. Powerful publishers raise prices at the newsboys' expense and they rally to strike against the unfair conditions. Together, the newsies learn they are stronger united and create a movement to fight for what's right.
Learn the Art of Musical Theatre
Each summer, director Megan Cartwright leads young performers ages 8 and up in a fun and supportive musical theatre experience at the Historic Palace Theatre. Over two weeks, students rehearse, learn choreography, and work together to bring a full stage production to life.
