About the event

Trio Niche brings the sound world of the early nineteenth century to life, performing the music of Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, and their contemporaries with a historically informed approach. Join us at Lemon Tree Gallery for an intimate evening of music by candlelight, surrounded by works by over 100 artists. Includes champagne and dessert. ABOUT TRIO NICHE

Formed by seasoned early-music performers associated with the Wren Masters, Colonial Williamsburg’s Governor’s Musick, and other distinguished ensembles, Trio Niche recreates the intimate musical atmosphere of the salons of Jane Austen’s Bath and Thomas Jefferson’s White House.

The ensemble performs on period-inspired instruments, including a modern replica of an 1805 Walther fortepiano, built by renowned instrument maker Paul McNulty. The nineteenth-century violin and cello are played with reproduction transitional classical bows based on…
